The following chart reflects what data is available for each individual county within New York State. We list the date of the latest updates for both the comprehensive assessment file and tax map data. As explained in the paragraph below, Sales transfers are added to all counties at least 8 times annually. The last statewide sales update was completed: March 30, 2026   Print

• All tax maps we maintain are available on both DVD and linked online via our Internet system (WebMap, Maptile, PDF). 
• Several counties are enhanced with our online GIS capability. This provides interactive parcel data linked to the online tax map if that particular map was capable of being geo-referenced. Currently we provide 2 different link options to these interactive maps, 'TaxMap Webmap' and  'Taxmap Maptile'. The list above reflects which counties have the enhanced maps in regard to what format. The Maptile option tends to have a higher percentage of maps geo-referenced per county than the WebMap option. WebMap requires Java and currently functions in only the Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari browsers.
• We still print our paper atlas product (11"x17") for the following counties : Albany, Erie, Livingston, Monroe, Niagara, Onondaga, Ontario, Saratoga, Wayne.   

Sales Updates: March 30, 2026 Sales transfers are updated and appended to all counties periodically. The date listed above reflects when new transfers were added to all counties. However, more current sales may be included in a county that recently had the ‘main assessment data’ updated.

Main Assessment Data:
The comprehensive assessment data for a county, or cumulatively of it’s townships, is normally collected and processed annually after the taxable status date.

Tax Mapping:
The majority of the tax maps are updated annually and available for most of the State. Less populated counties may be updated less frequently. Counties which include the 'Added GIS Capability' with the enhanced ‘interactive’ capability are designated above.
